THE CONTEXT

In order t achieve a well balanced gender talent population, a major retail bank had identified a need to increase its female population in a number of specific Tech and Digital functions.

OUR SOLUTION

  • A comprehensive programme of research was undertaken to identify female professionals currently working in a range of specified Tech ad digital roles. The research incorporated retail banking, but was extended to include a wide landscape of organisations recognised as being high quality, successful Digital innovators

  • Identified individuals were engaged with and encouraged to share their preferences relating to working terms and conditions. Additionally they were asked to share and prioritise working practices and contractual elements that make employers attractive to work for. They were asked to share their medium term career aspirations

  • A reward survey was undertaken

  • An employer brand survey was undertaken

  • A selected cohort of the overall population was invited to consider future employment by the client

THE OUTCOME

  • The client received a comprehensive and current overview of the female talent landscape relating to specified Tech and Digital roles, across a number of UK , European and US locations

  • The insights gained included reward benchmarking analysis and recommendations to support attracting female talent in these specific roles going forward

  • A cohort of niche Digital candidates was submitted, pre-qualified and ready to hire for both immediate and medium term requirements across 3 continents
