Parkhouse Bell’s leadership team is able to provide a unique perspective and insight into the sectors that we work across. Collectively the team holds over four decades of experience in the UK and International recruitment services sector; combining this knowledge with senior management experience in the Employment Services, Education and Healthcare sectors.
Sue Craven Chair of the Parkhouse Bell Board
Sue is responsible for leading the Parkhouse Bell Board and supporting the Senior Management Team by providing strategic insight and critical challenge.
Sue is a highly successful entrepreneur and is the founder of Armstrong Craven, a global leader in the provision of senior talent pipelines for international, market-leading organisations. She is renowned for her leadership innovation and expertise and has a proven-track record for enabling organisations to flourish.
With a significant portfolio of Board level experience, spanning executive search, recruitment, consultancy and charity sectors, Sue’s input will enable Parkhouse Bell to deliver on its growth and operational objectives.
Helen McAnally Founder and Director
Helen is responsible for the strategic direction and growth plans for the Parkhouse Bell group, as well as overseeing all recruitment at a senior level for employers, including Board appointments.
Prior to her recruitment career, Helen headed up the Business Education Departments of several private schools in Australia, having moved into these roles from a five year career in the public and private sectors.
In 2005 Helen completed an MBA to complement her Education based qualifications.
Helen is well connected across all our specialist sectors and has built up an extensive contact base in the UK, Australia and the Middle East.
In January 2017, Helen became a Trustee for the charity Drive Forward Foundation. The Drive Forward Foundation supports and empowers young care leavers, giving them the skills and resources to help them reach their full potential.
Lorette Smit Chief Operating Officer
Lorette is responsible for strategy implementation and operational performance within the Parkhouse Bell group.
Prior to joining PhB, Lorette worked for a number of large Welfare to Work and Skills businesses in senior executive roles. Her experience ranges from Corporate Services (including Finance, IT, HR and MI), Quality and Compliance and Operational Management.
Her experience enables Lorette to provide deep insight and understanding of the needs of our industry, clients and candidates.
Pip Radcliffe Director of Recruitment Division: UK
Pip oversees the management and development of Parkhouse Bell’s dedicated team of recruitment consultants.
Pip started her career in 2001 and she began developing specialist experience in the Employment, Health and Education Sectors in 2010. She is now regarded as a sector expert.
Pip’s consultative approach means she excels at supporting businesses to develop through intelligent staffing solutions.
Bradley Smeeton Director of Executive Search and Senior Appointments
An experienced business consultant and with a background in the financial services sector, Bradley brings a fresh perspective to our Executive Recruitment team. Experienced at a senior level, his commercial experience and understanding provides invaluable insight for organisations looking to improve their commercial acumen.
Bradley has worked with our public and private sectors clients to appoint to positions such as Chief Operating Officer; Business Development and Sales Director; Commercial and Operations Director. His expertise in attracting candidates from other sectors has been particularly valuable when making these appointments.
Charlotte Nancarrow Client Services Director
Charlotte is responsible for strategy and delivery of Parkhouse Bells’ account managed solutions, working in partnership with our key account clients to ensure realisation and fulfilment of their strategic vision.
Charlotte has a wealth of both recruitment and delivery experience within the skills, education and employment services sectors, working at both senior executive level and managing UK wide multi-site corporate accounts within recruitment, as well front line delivery and management roles within independent training providers.
Samantha Smith Managing Consultant: Australia
Sam is the Managing Consultant for our Australian business and works closely with our clients across the country. She is a qualified lawyer and has experience working in both the UK and Australian markets.
Sam joined Parkhouse Bell in 2012 following a brief period with a Not for Profit Employment Services provider. She has eight years recruitment experience, which includes a number of internal recruitment contract roles within Community Services and Corporate organisations, and has recruited at all levels from front line operational staff to C-suite positions. Her tenacity, attention to detail and expeditious approach to recruitment ensures that she provides a great service to our Australian clients and candidates.
Matt Wells FIEP Advisor
Matt is an internationally respected business development professional. He has held a range of senior operational and strategic roles in the UK and Australia’s employment services, skills, criminal justice, health and education sectors.
Matt is a well-known and respected internationally as a sector expert, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Employability Professionals.
Matt has worked with Parkhouse Bell since 2014, fulfilling both Managing Director and CEO roles before moving into an Advisory role in 2018. Matt supports the Parkhouse Bell Board and Senior Management Team by providing strategic insight, oversight, and challenge. In addition, Matt is leading the development of Parkhouse Bell’s consultancy offer, overseeing a range of projects that offer tailored HR and business development support to our customers.
